I must not be the first person to write about this.  Nevertheless, it's a theme that keeps running through my head even before I join 200WaD.

It's true that it's not easy to find a theme to write about.  We sometimes talk about the blank page syndrome.  When you do a Google search for white page syndrome, you can see that it is a well-documented topic. Another term used for the same type of syndrome is Writer's Block.

My various quick readings on the subject show a ton of possible explanations for this phenomenon.  Sometimes simple and sometimes complex, all kinds of explanations to finally understand that the problem is the one who tries to write. Writer has to fight the Enemy that lives between his own two ears.   The writer must control his own inner world.  It's a bit like meditation.  Even if I am not a writer, even if I have no experience writing or writing a book or only an article, I have the feeling that there is a simple solution to restart the process of creation and productivity.

The title of this post is Choose A Topic For Writing.  For my part, the blockage in writing is because we do not know what we are talking about.  Why not listen to our inner world and let yourself be guided by this little voice.

I may change my mind within six months, but for now my beginner's instinct is dictating this approach to solving the white page syndrome.

@jeannotchapdelaine try introducing yourself in your next post so that we can help you come up with writing topics :)

    1) who are you?
    2) what do you do?
    3) why do you want to develop a writing habit?

    simple questions but highly helpful!
