What follows is my opinion.
As a founder, you need to learn how to let things go. There are months that just aren't great. It happens and it's okay.
We had a great February and then an okay March. Of course, we're overachievers and were disappointed with "okay". However, the only thing we can do now is use what we've learned to make April great. It's only April 2nd but things are looking up already.
You can look into the metrics all you want but, sometimes, business is just hard to explain. Maybe I'm being naive but I think you should just push forward. Take what you can from it and look ahead, not back.
If you let little things get to you, it's guaranteed to take a big toll. On your mental health, on your relationships, on everything. We can't afford to lose our minds in tough times. We have customers and a whole team that depends on us.
This journey has given me a lot of appreciation for other founders. It's not always as glamorous as it may seem. As they say, the struggle is real. But, honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way.
